Fresno Nightcrawler
aka, the Fresno Alien; when researching, some of these dates vary. I have checked a variety of sources and believe what's included here is the most accurate.
The initial sighting stems from 2007, when unusual footage was captured by a resident's home security system in Fresno, California. Early in the morning, Jose was awoken by his dogs barking. When checking the CCTV security footage, he saw what looked like a walking pair of pants. The footage is grainy and low quality. The pants appear lighter than the yard, but a specific color isn't distinguishable due to the lighting and quality of the footage.
This Cryptid has become widely popular, and was feature early on Syfy's Fact or Faked: Paranormal Files. Some propose this cryptid may be extraterrestrial in origin, others that it relates to Native American folklore- but no specifics as to which group, and none have claimed it.
A 2011 sighting in Yosemite National Park, California also includes footage from what is believed to be a security camera. This footage shows two creatures, one being very small (less than .5 meters), and the feet of the creatures can be clearly seen.
Attributed sightings also occurred in Ohio, such as the Carmel Area Creature. In the Fort Hill area of Highland County, 60-year-old former marine and his wife were driving near Carmel on December 12, 2014, when they came up over a hill and saw a 7' tall slender, gray creature.
"We recently bought a place in the Fort Hill area (in southeast Highland County). We first noticed after about 30 days of living here that we suddenly have a perfect circle that stays fresh green, no matter what weather, in our front yard. On Friday night (the 12th), we were driving home. After turning onto Carmel Road, which leads to our road, we went around the curve by the Carmel church and then up a small incline and approximately 10 feet over the incline and in front of our truck, the 'alien' ran across the road and into the woods."
Another account, with footage, comes from Poland, on what appears to be a handheld camera.

This cryptid is included in my Cryptids of North America Playing Cards. This is a limited run set of Playing Cards and my first crowd sourced project.
